"content": " Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I want to align myself to the sentiments that have been expressed by other hon. Members. This Bill has come at an appropriate time. I want to agree that this Bill is about whistle blowers. However, I am concerned with one major issue; that is where information is taken specifically to police officers. That same information is exchanged for cash to the suspects. I have cases where people have been killed by criminals in my constituency for giving information to the police. The same policemen decide to give the same information, together with the names of the informers, to the suspects. I have looked at this Bill and cannot see what action will be taken against those who release confidential police information. There are those who would like to make quick money. I do not know what mechanism the Attorney-General will use to determine the credibility of a witness. I presume that the Attorney- General's office alone will not be able to determine who is a credible witness. I say so because we have so many people, especially the criminals---"
