    "content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to second the Bill. As the Minister has rightly said, this is a short, straightforward, yet very important Bill. No country can develop coherently until and unless it has its statistics in order. The statistics should be correctly gathered and reflect actual facts so that it can guide the allocation of various activities of Government. Indeed, we already have the CBS which has been functioning. The Bill intends to revamp, re-energise and re-engineer the work and activities of the Board."
