    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have the background to this Question. When I was Minister for Roads and Public Works, I appointed a committee to investigate pending bills in the Ministry of Roads and Public Works. That committee produced a report which I tabled in the Cabinet. The Cabinet Committee on Anti-Corruption recommended the establishment of this particular committee to look at other pending bills. But in as far as the pending bills in the road sector is concerned, the matter was investigated and concluded. Why is the Government wasting further public funds in extending the term of this committee for another seven months when it has been in place for over one year? Is it not just another case of Government misusing public funds to pay its supporters?"
