    "content": "Secondly, the Departmental Committee on Administration of Justice and Legal Affairs was attracted to this matter as early as March, 2006. Evidence was received by the said Committee. This interest was manifested in its meeting on 7th March, 2006. The Minister of State for Administration and National Security, accompanied by his Permanent Secretary gave evidence before the Committee on 17th March, 2006. On 3rd April, the Permanent Secretary, Strategy and Policy Analysis, Mr. Stanley Murage, appeared before the Committee. The matter is still pending before the Committee. It is and was, therefore, a continuous matter before the said Committee, long before the setting up of the Commission of Inquiry."
