"content": " Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity to contribute to this debate. At the outset, I would like to congratulate the Minister for tabling, perhaps, one of the best Budget Speeches that we have had in this House in a very long time. It is also time when this House should be the first to appreciate what is happening in this country. This year, we got reports from all the relevant Ministries, and we all know that we had a growth of 5.8 per cent. That is a record! So, as a House, we need to appreciate that this country is moving in the right direction. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir a lot has been said by my colleagues about security. It is true that security is a challenge for this Government. It is also true that the state of security today is not what it was three years ago. Indeed, we need to congratulate the managers of security from Vigilance House, Office of the President and all over the country for the improved security. However, security still remains a major challenge that should be tackled. There will be no meaningful growth if the state of security is not properly addressed."
