    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, the costs are not likely to come down. The cost of petroleum products is totally different from what it used to be three years ago. Bitumen is a by-product of petroleum. It has become more expensive than it was three to four years ago. The bulk of construction equipment use diesel. It is now more expensive than before. So, the cost of construction is not likely to go down. All we can do is to have a prudent management of projects, so that our engineers could do proper supervision. That way, the roads will last their design periods. I can assure the House that we are doing our best to control the management of the projects."
