Mr. Cheruiyot retired in April, 2004, and, therefore, the Ministry contravened the \"Musila (Amendment) Act\" by not paying the pensioner in time. Could the Assistant Minister undertake to pay interest on the said pension dues since he has contravened the Pensions (Amendment) Act?"
