    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, during the last financial year, it is only Kshs25 million that was allocated for the maintenance of airstrips countrywide. However, this time round, the Ministry is assessing all the airstrips in conjunction with the Kenya Airports Authority to determine how much is needed to take care of the airstrips. We are also recommending that we have a gradual programme of putting bitumen on the airstrips so that they can last longer and be safer than they are currently."
