    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Ministry is specifically mandated to maintain the airstrips where the landing takes place. Anything surrounding airstrips and which pertains to the safe landing of aircraft falls under the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) which is under the Ministry of Transport. So, our role is basically to make sure that the airstrips are in good condition for landing and take-off of aircrafts. With regard to ensuring safety around areas surrounding the airstrips, that falls within the Ministry of Transport."
