    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be further amended in the Second Schedule: (b) by deleting Paragraph 7. This paragraph will repeal Section 163(1)(b) of the Evidence Act. This section provides that in criminal trials for sexual offences, the court shall not take into account the past conduct of the complainant or promiscuits. The purpose of my amendment is to ensure that people who are known to be of bad morals do not raise frivolous allegations against others and they do not want their dark past to be known."
