"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, the Board was intended to be independent of Government, especially. When you talk about corruption, the Government and its agencies are on one side while the business community is on the other side. That is why we were very careful not to include anybody who would have the input of Government in this Board, which is actually fighting against corruption in Government. So, to introduce the Permanent Secretary there, it will suggest that the Government is going to investigate itself now. If what the Attorney-General is saying is true, that they will need some advice from the Minister, he can always attend those Board meetings. He can be invited to advise them, if it is necessary, but he need not be a substantive member of that Board. Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to oppose."
