    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, now that we have assisted the Government in approving this Bill, I hope that the Minister--- Since the Supplementary Estimates have also 964 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES May 4, 2006 provided for security, which has deteriorated in our country, we now need our uniformed forces to work hard. The hardship allowance for our policemen was reduced some time back. I hope the Minister in charge of internal security will use some of the money that he has been allocated to remunerate well our police officers who work so hard. That way, they will have the morale to protect all of us. Security is a very important issue. With those remarks, I beg to support."
