"content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, they are as follows:- (i) Under the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, we have the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KFRI). The name of the CEO is Dr. P.K. Arap Konuch. The date of appointment and expiry is 25th March, 2003 to 24th March, 2006. At the moment, the matter is being discussed by the board. (ii) The CEO for the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) was Prof. Ratemo Micheka. The date of appointment and expiry of his contract was 25th March, 2003 to 24th March, 2006, respectively. Prof. Micheka was suspended before expiry of the contract. We have an acting CEO in place."
