    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is unfortunate, but the Registration of Persons Act requires that a person who is applying for an identity card when he is over 18 years should swear an affidavit. Those who enacted this law knew that our country is wide. However, we cannot go against the law. For those who come from remote areas, they should know that chiefs and assistant chiefs are registration officers under the Registration of Persons Act. The officers can collect the application forms, fill them and take them to a magistrate for signing."
