We even had Kshs100 million besides the Kshs400 million which we gave to farmers who have big portions of land, to buy livestock for re-stocking. The loans were advanced at an interest rate of 5 per cent as opposed to the normal rate of 10 per cent. The Government has done all it can to assist farmers."
