"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, what we desire is to root out corruption. There are no angels or saints. But there can be an intention to do good. To that extent, I would like to commend the hon. Mwiraria for the statement he made on the Floor of this House as he was contributing. He said he supported the Report and said let the investigations be done. But he also had the courage to say that he had very good intentions in whatever he did and that if he had made a mistake, he stood ready to apologise to the people of this Republic. It is that spirit that creates healing and allows issues to be dealt with, and removes vindictiveness and witch-hunting from the process of nation building."
