    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) I am aware that the members of the Land Disputes Tribunal from Maragua Constituency have not been paid their full sitting allowances for the year 2004 and 2005. The current situation is that the allowances for the Tribunal members are being serviced from Government voted funds and given that the number of meetings they hold are many, the April 6, 2006 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 419 funds have not been sufficient. This has led to members' payments falling into cumulative arrears. This situation is not peculiar to Maragua Constituency alone, it also obtains throughout the country. (b) The Ministry has been raising this matter with the Treasury to allocate more funds for the Tribunal expenses. Once enough funds are allocated, the Ministry will clear the pending arrears."
