"content": " On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Following what you have just noted, having listened to the radio, watched television and read newspapers over the weekend, yesterday and today, the media was casting aspersions on the person of the President. The media claimed that it was basing its reports on the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Report that is now before the House. The PAC Report does not, at all, implicate the President in corruption. The Report only notes on page 42 that the President was informed of the investigations when the audit queries were raised. Could the Chair, similarly, order the newspapers which are purporting to carry a report of this House, to do adequate corrections? They are not only anticipating debate, but are also distorting a record of this House."
