You were in the Press on several occasions to state what the Minister for National Security stated before your 184 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES March 29, 2006 Committee. I am not sure whether you were even authorised by the Committee to do that. But even if they did, they were wrong because the framework of the Standing Orders requires the House to debate matters in the House rather responding to Press statements, thereby taking the cue from there and taking it everywhere.
