    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me a chance to contribute to the Presidential Speech. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, as you know, this country depends on agriculture. About 70 per cent of our population depends on agriculture. Sugar-cane is grown in my constituency. The President mentioned that a Sessional Paper will be brought to this House to revive the sugar industry. It is now too late! The Government has been in power for the last three years. The sugar industry supports 6 million Kenyans. It also employs 250,000 people directly and indirectly."
