    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to politely oppose this Motion. I want to congratulate this House for having done a very good job in the past one year. The reason as to why I am opposing this Motion is that as we debate in this House, Kenyans are looking upon us when they are “bleeding”. The cost of living in this country has skyrocketed. It will be ridiculous for us to go back to our constituencies when we do not have any proposals on how to mitigate this crisis. I have noted with concern the high cost of food, fuel and money. It is incumbent upon this House to ensure that these serious issues are mitigated."
