    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, we are taking intervention measures. These measures include giving animals supplements, so that they become a bit stronger before they are transported to the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC) to be slaughtered. We do not want them to die before they are taken to KMC. In addition to that, we are putting up four abattoirs in those areas of northern Kenya. We do not want them transported across long distances because they are weak and they may die. With those abattoirs, we believe they will be delivered alive and in good health."
