Standing Order No.25 (1) says:- “A Member who wishes to postpone to some future occasion the further discussion of a question which has been proposed from the Chair may claim to move “ That, the debate be now adjourned”, or, in Committee of the whole House “That, the Chairperson do report progress.” Hon. Members, based on that and under the predicament we are in now, the Chair will now put the Question that the debate be now adjourned!"
