"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also take this opportunity to join you and other Members of Parliament in condoling the family and friends of the late John Michuki who was a very close friend of mine and also a neighbour to the extent that I used to refer to him as a father. I do not have many words to say but I recall the many times that we shared not just in this House or Nairobi but even at his home when we used to join him as Members from Murang’a. Also in the village, there are very many things we are going to miss about Mzee. He was a great man. That is a man who was very courageous and knowledgeable. At any one time that we used to sit, there are many stories that he could tell. He could also give us a brief of what happens in Parliament. Actually, he is the person who made me join politics because of the way I used to look at him and also admire the way he used to carry himself."
