    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Just on the same issue, we notice and agree that you made a ruling. We asked for time to read the corrigenda. I have read through the corrigenda and a few issues that need clarification arise before we debate this issue. The first issue that arises is that it has only been signed by the Chairman. We need to authenticate whether this corrigenda was adopted by the Committee or it was a creation of the Chair. Secondly, under Standing Order No.48 it says:- “The Speaker may permit a Member to move in amendment form a Motion of which notice has been given if, in the opinion of the Speaker, the amendment does not materially alter the principle embodies in the Motion of which the notice has been given”."
