In Clause 36(3), it says:- “Not withstanding subsections (1) and (2) and before appointing or employing any member of staff of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission who wishes to work for the Commission, the Commission shall:- (a) require such a person to make an application for employment or appointment to the Commission; and, (b) using criteria determined by the Commission vet such persons to ensure that he or she is fit and proper to serve in the position applied for as a member of staff or a Commissioner. Therefore, we will transit all of them, but subject them to this procedure."
