So, as a Member of the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee (CIOC), we have stated that it appears there is lack of commitment from the Government to implement the Constitution. That is because when Ministers fail to come to the House when we are discussing various Bills for the implementation of the Constitution, what is this House expected to do? So, my plea to the Chair is to communicate with the appointing authority to ensure that the Executive takes the implementation of the Constitution as a serious matter."
