Member is probably not aware that the NCPB was buying maize from farmers at Kshs3,000 per bag sometime last year, until they ran out of the money that they had been given. That is when they stopped and the private sector then moved in and brought down the prices. So, what we are saying is that money is now being made available again to NCPB to buy maize from farmers at a higher price. That is the situation as I know it! Those are facts! Thank you!"
