"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I did mention here and my memory is very clear, that those officers who were found with stolen goods were interdicted. The Government works like this: You interdict any person who has been mentioned on anything to do with theft. That means he is no longer an officer from the force. Later on, the same officer will be taken to court after thorough investigations to know whether he was actually involved in stealing. Again, when we are talking about this particular question, this one is completely different from what he was asking me about the officers yesterday. I said that those are treated as suspects. Any police officer who is caught with any stolen goods is a suspect. He will be taken to court as any other ordinary Kenyan."
