    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to go straight to the issues in the Bill. I will start with Clause 4 which is about information required on publication. This Bill provides that the first person who publishes the results of an electoral opinion poll during an electoral period and any other person who transmits those results to the public within the 24 hours after they are first transmitted to the public must provide the following information together with the results: 1. The name of the sponsor of the opinion poll. 2. The name of the person or organization that conducted the opinion poll. 3. The date or period during which the opinion poll was conducted. 4. The population from which the sample of the respondents were drawn. 5. The number of people who were contacted to participate in the opinion poll. 6. The methodology used."
