    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is important that whoever is conducting the opinion poll must tell the public the education level of the participants. The public has the right to know the margin of error, if applicable, in respect of the data obtained. I have gone ahead and provided that a person who contravenes any of the above provisions of Clause 4(1) commits an offence. It is important that we make it clearer by giving additional information. I propose in this Bill that the following additional information referred to in Clause 4, besides the information I have given above, be provided in the case of application by means other than broadcasting: 1. The wording of the opinion poll questions in respect of which the data is obtained. 2. Name and address of the sponsor of the opinion poll. 3. Name and address of the person or organization that conducted the opinion poll. Information about the methodology used to collect the data from which the opinion poll results were derived, including the sampling method, the population from which the sample was drawn, the size of the initial sample, the number of individuals who were asked to participate in the opinion poll, and the numbers and the respective percentages of them who participated in the opinion poll. 4. Information about who refused to participate in the opinion poll or those who were ineligible to participate in the opinion poll. 5. Furthermore, we would like any printed opinion poll to disclose the dates and time of the day of the interviews. The method used to recalculate the data should take into account the opinion poll the results of the participants who expressed no opinion, were undecided, or failed to respond to any or all of the opinion poll questions must also be provided."
