"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I know that you are both a lawyer and scholar, so you will remember that the period between October, 2007 and October, 2012 opinion pollsters were very busy. When the history of this country is finally written, it will be very difficult for the role opinion polls played in post-election violence to be left out. If the opinion polls that were conducted in 2007 had been conducted in an environment where there was a law that we seek to pass today, it would have been scientifically done and the expectations of the people would not have been hyped. This is a fairly technical subject and I want to spend a few minutes discussing opinion polling."
