"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have no wish to interrupt my good friend, Prof. Sam Ongeri. I only want to tell him that I heard him on a number of occasions say, “The law is clear”. As far as the Examination Act itself is concerned, the law is very clear. The law is here and it says:- “Cancelled results, scripts, projects and other examination material for the purposes of assessment and in respect of which irregularities are established by the Council and the results cancelled shall not be available for re-assessments” Basically, what this law says is that whatever the Examination Council does is the alpha and omega and there is no appeal. What is the purpose of the appeal if you cannot go back to the examination materials for reassessment by independent bodies?"
