"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, with all due respect, the Minister has not answered my question, but I do not want to interject into his answer. Tthere is a letter here from the Ministry of Finance dated 5th September 2011 and I want to read the last paragraph. It is addressed to the Director of Occupational Health and Safety Services. It says: “Kindly and urgently address the above issues to enable us process the injury claims, compensation to the claimants and death claims to the Public Trustee as per the Work Injury Benefits Act No.13 of 2007.” It also says: “Attached, please find a list of claims for ease of reference.” The attached list bears the names of Yusuf Dabasa Abajilia and Abdi Galicha Abakuna. It is on the basis of which I asked the first question. If the Minister assessed the claim at Kshs234,000 and the Director of Occupational Health and Safety Services has put the benefits at Kshs933,840. Which of the two figures should we go by?"
