"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, Kenya went to war with Somalia. This matter has been talked on in this House before. The main question in our country is: Where is our safety? How safe are our borders? That is the issue. Before we went to this war in Somalia, there was the issue of some tourists in Lamu. An English man was killed and some French lady was abducted. But the issue in the minds of Kenyans is; we have seen Ethiopian army cross the border and kill some Kenyans. We have seen it on the western borders. The security of our country has to do with us ensuring that our border is safe."
