For this particular maize, the farmers co-operative through their Chairman, Mr. Komora wrote a letter indicating the plight of the farmers. These 3,000 bags of maize is lying in the NIB offices and it has already been inspected and I wish to table this document by the Chairman of the Irrigation Board. I also have a certificate which shows that the maize is fit for human consumption."
