    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the appointment of the Director- General is also important because he is going to be paid a salary and other remuneration. According to the National Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, Section 14, the remuneration of the Director-General--- He is to be paid such salaries from time to time as may be determined by the President. The question I want to ask the Assistant Minister is: This new National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) Director- General, on what terms and conditions is he employing him? If he is going to be paid as per what the President is supposed to be determining, is this not contrary to the Constitution because we have a Salaries Commission?"
