"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for the Assistant Minister to stand here and tell us that since 1963 up to now, the San Marco Project has only given Kshs240 million to community projects is a joke. What we want to ask the Assistant Minister is: What benefits are there that you can show for the people of Malindi and Coast Province in general from that project? At every US$100 million that they are paying to San Marco, what is it that the community at the Coast is getting? We need this thing to be taken seriously by the Ministry of State for Defence. It is very unfair for the Government to stand here and tell us that they are making nothing."
