    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, pursuant to a public petition that the staff of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) presented to the House through hon. John Mbadi, MP on Thursday March 2012, the Chair directed Joint Committees of the Departmental Committee on Energy, Communications and Information and the House Broadcasting Committee to investigate the matter and report to the House within 21 days. The joint committee has since held several meetings with various parties involved and, as of today, we are yet to have a final wrap up meeting with the petitioners and one crucial witness who has travelled out of the country."
