    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, we have also subsidized energy audits, which are carried out by the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) to determine appropriate and suitable energy saving equipment to be installed in factories, tourist hotels and other large commercial and industrial buildings. The Ministry of Energy provides Kshs30 million annually to KAM for these activities, which also supports training of energy managers. These studies will be expanded over time to cover other economic and social sectors such as hospitals and commercial buildings."
