    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, this amendment is informed by the fact that today we are in a new dispensation of transparency and accountability. We have seen that the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) is a very important institution for this country. Most of the problems that we are seeing today were as a result of the management in the CBK. You will appreciate that recently we had a select committee, which you were privileged to be a Member of, and our findings were such that we need to deal with the law governing the CBK."
