    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to applaud the President also for raising the issue of the LAPPSET corridor. Indeed, I want to thank him because this is going to be one of the legacies he will leave this country with. But let the President and the Prime Minister – the two principals – take the lead; even after laying the foundation stone in Lamu, I am seeing the relevant Government Ministries not moving very fast to implement this project. Let the President, in the next couple of months that are remaining, prioritize this. He has the support of the leadership along that corridor. We want this project to be fast tracked as soon as possible, so that by the time the President is retired, that project is up and running so that we, in this country, can reap the benefits of that particular project."
