    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. About three months ago, I asked the Leader of Government Business to give us a Statement as to whether the Government is serious on implementation of the laws as per the Sixth Schedule in a timely manner, and whether the Attorney General is taking his work seriously as per Article 261 of the Constitution, which gives him the responsibility to ensure that the Bills are drafted; and that, it is not necessarily himself drafting them but he has to oversee the process together with the Commission for the Implementation of Constitution (CIC). Mr. Speaker, Sir, to date, I have not seen that Statement. Parliament has been pushed to passing Bills with mistakes in a hurry. Right now, the County Governments Bill is in limbo because of lack of seriousness on the part of the Government. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to know from the Leader of Government Business why they have not made the Statement and give us as commitment that the laws due by August will be brought to Parliament in good time."
