"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rose to bring out one issue; that this Bill has successfully been enacted today by this House because the Minister took time. He invited Members of Parliament and other stakeholders to a workshop where they had all the time to go through the Bill. I remember that there were reports in the newspapers that the Minister had invited Members of Parliament to Mombasa to go and bribe them. These are the allegations that we really need to stop as Members of this august House. When you issue those kinds of statements, you are hurting not only yourself but, this House, the country and everybody else. So, my request is: Hon. Members, please let us avoid making those reckless statements because the effect of that is just to lower the dignity of this House. Kenyans look up to us and they expect us to do our best."
