    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, there is, therefore, an urgent need to get the way forward. The way forward is the approval of this Motion. In this regard, it is necessary that a resolution to extend the prescribed period is passed by this House pursuant to Article 261 of the Constitution in order to fulfill the constitutional requirement. Under Article 259((9) of the Constitution, a Motion for the requisite resolution has to be brought to the House. Article 259(9) says:- “If any person or State organ has authority under this Constitution to extend a period of time prescribed by this Constitution, the authority may be exercised either before or after the end of the period, unless a contrary intention is expressly specified in the provision conferring the authority”"
