I want to thank Mr. Orengo and Mr. Michuki for eloquently presenting this Bill to this House. I also want to thank Members in this House for their patience and determination to sit up to this hour of the night to ensure the passage of these important Bills so that Kenyans can realize the fruits of the new Constitution they overwhelmingly passed. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, the object, of course, is to establish the Environment and the Land Court with a status of the High Court to hear and determine issues and disputes relating to environment and land."
