    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have listened to many hon. Members contribute to this Motion. Many of them may have good reasons for supporting the nominees, one of which is time, but is the fact that we are getting late to establish the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission a good reason for us to overlook very serious accusations and just role through and rum down the throats of Kenyans names, some of which are not acceptable by a half of the membership of this House? I know that we have had a very poor record when it comes to dealing with issues of grand corruption. This is because of the influence that corrupt people have in the Government. Grand corruption cannot be instituted by an ordinary person. It is instituted by very senior members of the Government, who operate either as a conspiracy or singly. I am sure that some of them are in this House, standing here and telling us that this is the best Commission we can master, and that there are no other Kenyans---"
