"content": "I have heard your point. The Chair is conscious of those emotions. The Chair is also conscious of the possibilities of what can happen in this country. However, the Chair will also enforce the cohesion of this country. Right now, if a section of people who live along the boundary of the two constituencies feel that they are discriminated against on account of ethnicity, that is unconstitutional and it is not allowed. The Chair will not take this matter sitting down. Owing to the history of this country and the need for us to open a new chapter for Kenya, the Chair directs the Equal Opportunities Committee to move with haste, investigate the matter, come back and report to the House in a maximum of two weeks."
