The point that the Members are raising is very important; that once there is a contractual obligation between the NHIF and the Ministry of State for Public Service to provide these services, they must be provided. The point I am making is that because of the problem that has faced these two service providers, what has been affected is not the service provision, but the account. Now, the caretaker Board must make arrangements for services to continue notwithstanding the problem. That is my understanding. We will be taken to task if services stopped because that is very tragic. Whatever problems exist must be solved without suspending services to the civil servants. The services must continue regardless of whatever problems there are. The problems that are there are solvable. They are not insolvable."
