Member to re-look at this amendment because right now, in the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), for example, the functions of the Registrar of the High Court is to merely register lawyers. Then, we all join the LSK, which sets the standards of practice and whatever. But those are two separate bodies, just like it is already in the Act. By bringing this amendment, it is like bringing the Registrar of the High Court and the LSK together. This is not a good practice!"
